Translations.

Here are a few of the best/ worst translated signs that I have seen so far. There are even a few that are just plain ole ridiculous. Some even get a bit racy towards the end. I know the humor is a bit low brow on this one, but the fun factor is still quite high. Mom cover your ojos por favor. Enjoy.

Skeegeee

Went to the fish market yesterday and man was it awesome. Fish heads and bits everywhere and not to mention some surley Japanese dudes smoking heaters and rocking around on their forkliftesque mobiles. How people including myself, dont end up mushed into fishy bits like the rest of the the critters here is amazing. I think we saw just about every type of sea creature imaginable laid out ready to be bought and sashimied. Enjoy some photos of my journey through fishland.

ps it didn't even smell that bad cuz it was F R E S H. That's fresh fresh fresh.

Shayu Shayu

Traditional Japanese Shabu Shabu just got legit by adding hotdawgs and meatballs. We just hit up a spot with all the health missiles and raw meat to drop in communal boiling water. We had 90 minutes to eat as much as we wanted and I think the damage was done. I almost forgot it was also free beer, sake, and suju. Ruh roh. :) Lorli.(that's what they call me here.)

Makin friends

After our last scrimmage in Fukuoka today we treated our new amigos to what we in America call gourmet food. Yup that's right, McD's soft serve up in the house. In cone, shake, or flurry form this stuff is bound to put a smile on everybody who encounters it. Our Japanese contingent didn't even stand a chance against it's deliciousness. Now if taco bell could get their act together and bring the double decker taco overseas.......

Vending Machine Wars 2010

This is mostly likely going to be an ongoing post over the next two weeks. Finding the supermaximumultimatefightingfantastic vending machine might take some serious time while here in japan. But I am up to the task. So far the haneda airport is in the lead with the vending corner serving up heaters and coffee along with some capri sunesque dranks. This might be a bit preemptive to put haneda in the lead as we have yet to actually leave an airport in japan, but we must give credit where credit is due. Arigato haneda.

Ps Japanese toilets you will be next in the search for the best of as you are equally exquisite.

This just got crushed. Breakfast of champions. Eggs spam fried rice. Healthly eating at it's finest.

UH OH

Howdy yall. For those of you who are lucky enough to know me this is the start of my worldwide official blog( yup the internets choose me to be an official contributor I think it's almost as lucky as winning powerball). For those of you who don't know me, well I think the blog you are looking for is down the hall two doors on the left, yup right there. Now that we have cleared out the rif raf i will get into the fun stuff Right bout meow I'm a third of the way between where we started in LA and where we're supposed to end up Japan. Minor snafu in the flights have us spending a night in Honolulu, not bad considering the other option was Cincinnatti. Now I'm not hating on the Nati as they do chef up some mighty fine chili, but flying four hours the wrong way doesn't seem like the best idea. With one night to kill in Honolulu, I might try and avoid deist's friend he met out here and go grab a couple barrels at pipeline, blue crush style, then get ready to make the trip to Japan tomorrow morning. Hopefully We don't have to make another stop between Honolulu and the land of the rising sun. As much as I've always wanted visit Palau, I would much rather munch some ramen noodles tomorrow evening. I will let y'all know how things end up and where we finally end up. Mahalo brahs. Ps y'all just got iced.
